cacti forest
originals: watercolour on 300gsm cold-pressed watercolour paper 23x31cm
prints: printed on 250gsm art paper
mural: gouache on glass
This set of watercolour paintings feature cacti forests, one in blue and the other in green.
The original paintings were later used as inspiration for a window mural that I did for an event at Cafe Zarah, "Art for Nature". This was my first year participating in this event which celebrated and raised awareness about environmental sustainability. Stickers and prints were also created and sold at the event.

cassette cover artwork
The Claptraps (self-titled)
digital (2021)
printed on 158gsm semi-gloss art paper
The Claptraps are an indie rock, shoegaze style band based in Beijing. Their debut EP was recorded, mixed and released in house at nugget records.
I worked alongside the band to create a visual representation of their sonic work. We hoped to convey in the artwork the vibrant psychedelic sensibilities that are present in their sound. The single ghost-like character huddled in the middle of the cover art alludes to themes of loneliness and a stark separation of one's inner state from the hectic outside world, both referenced in the Claptraps' musical work.
