cacti forest
originals: watercolour on 300gsm cold-pressed watercolour paper 23x31cm
prints: printed on 250gsm art paper
mural: gouache on glass
This set of watercolour paintings feature cacti forests, one in blue and the other in green.
The original paintings were later used as inspiration for a window mural that I did for an event at Cafe Zarah, "Art for Nature". This was my first year participating in this event which celebrated and raised awareness about environmental sustainability. Stickers and prints were also created and sold at the event.

cassette cover artwork
thruoutin - fine valley pass / apricot station
digital illustration
printed on 157gsm semi-gloss art paper
I created this illustration as the cover artwork for thruoutin's cassette re-release of EP's, fine valley pass & apricot station, on nugget records. thruoutin incorporated found sound from field recordings in Jiayuguan and Xingshutai, China, in these two EP's. It was important for me to create imagery that reflected the immersiveness of his work.
